The App is designed for education agents and study abroad consultancies to manage student records, payments, balances, and profit.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and profile information

When you sign in with Google Sign-In, we receive basic account information such as your name and email address from Google, as permitted by your Google account settings.
You may provide agency profile details (for example agency name, contact information, and preferences) stored on your device and, where applicable, synced with our services.

2.2 Student and business data you enter

The App is a business tool. You and your team enter data about your education business, which may include:

Student names, contact details, passport or ID references, and programme details
University, programme, and assigned agent information
Financial data: agreed amounts, payments received, balances, costing, and profit
Cashbook entries, receipts, offer notes, and related business documents
Master data such as universities, programmes, and agents on your team

You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process this information about students and third parties under applicable laws in your country.

2.3 Device and usage information

Device identifiers (such as a device UUID), device model, platform, operating system version, and app version for security, support, and service improvement.
Activity events such as sign-in and app open may be sent to our central services to manage accounts, prevent abuse, and provide support.

2.4 Camera, photos, and files

With your permission, the App may access the camera and photo library for passport scanning, receipt images, profile photos, and document attachments.
You may export or back up data (for example CSV, Excel, or backup files). Optional cloud backup features, if enabled, use services you authorize (such as Google Drive) under their own terms and privacy policies.

Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
Authenticate users and secure accounts
Store and display your student, payment, and business records
Generate reports, receipts, and exports you request
Respond to support requests and improve the App

4. How we store information

Much of your business data is stored locally on your device using a local database (SQLite) for performance and offline use.
Certain profile and preference data may be stored in device storage (for example SharedPreferences on Android).
Limited account and activity data may be processed on servers operated by or for B9zero to provide sign-in, account status, and support.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

With service providers who help us operate the App (for example hosting, email, or authentication), subject to confidentiality obligations
With Google when you choose Google Sign-In or Google Drive backup, governed by Google's policies
When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. Local data on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. You may delete on-device data in the app (see our Delete account & data page) or request deletion of account-related data held on our servers by contacting support@b9zero.com.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your device, Google account, and any PIN or credentials used in the App.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact support@b9zero.com.

9. Children's privacy

The App is intended for business use by education agents and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Student records you enter about minors are processed under your responsibility as the data controller for your business.

10. International users

If you use the App from outside Bangladesh, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers where permitted by law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
